If there's one thing I don't need a whole four days from the next Friday night, it's a game that wants me to tear my brain in half. Poto & Cabenga begins as a restful ride in the country, but disaster strikes when some huge bird lizard swoops down and gobbles Poto (or possibly Cabenga) whole.
The screen then splits across the middle. Cabenga (or possibly Poto) carries on galloping through the desert on the lower half, while Poto (or possibly Cabenga) trots through the predator's gut on top. You have to control them both at once with the space bar.
Trouble is, Poto and Cabenga interpret your commands differently. Holding space will make one speed up while the other slows down. How vexing. Did I mention the onslaught of spiky beasts and flying eyeballs?
Hippolyta is simpler, and wears less clothing.
