"Photorealism", in the sense that this particular point-and-click adventure is made up of actual photos! Groan.
In fairness, the vast majority of adventure and room escape games on the web are created digitally (with varying degrees of visual success), but someone's shown some real imagination on this one by doing what we often consider to be the unthinkable... getting dressed and going outdoors.
Equipped with a camera, the folks behind Echoes of the Past have assembled a whole set of pictures of a pleasant rural location, filled with the usual hidden coins, keys and secret engravings. A nice bit of original music also makes this one to check out and one of the more noticeable adventure web games I've stumbled upon recently.
So, don't panic. No need to go outdoors for real. It's too cold for that kind of nonsense anyway.

I remember an outdoor photorealistic game that was point and click for the PC called Myst. Must be 20 years ago now.

Dirk sorry to say but Myst had computer generated graphics not photos taken from real world.
