Like FarmVille? Gagging for an iPhone version? PlayMesh has published iFarm, a sturdy online-enabled virtual agriculture sim, to fill the gap.

If you're halfway familiar with any manner of Facebook-based horticulture, you'll know the drill here. Buy seeds, sow 'em, water 'em, pull up the results and sell 'em on. iFarm is rather short on features alongside its older brethren on Facebook - animals please, PlayMesh - but given that it's 100% free you can't really complain.

You can, however, complain about the sluggish connection speed and inability to save your farm. That last one's a real /facepalm provoker, PlayMesh. It's possibly even worth a /facedesk or two.
