A new Pastel Games point and click adventure series? Don't mind if we do, chaps.
This one's set in deep space. The pitiless, hauntingly sterile kind from the Freewill Cycle, that is, not the saturated sensory cosmos of Vector Effect.
You play a lone pilot sent to investigate a giant, broken-down starship, adrift in an asteroid field. There are the usual item-based puzzles and some mildly challenging maths conumdrums. Hint: check out the view from the porthole.
We were hoping for a bit more plot, but then again this is only the first episode. The visuals are as moodily stylised as you'd expect, but the setting isn't quite as captivating as that of Covert Front.
