
Despite its name, there's something appealingly civilised about 2D Play's Big Battle: Tanks. Not to mention the turret genre at large.
It's closer to pool or darts than mechanised warfare. You take it in turns to position a tank with left and right arrow, adjust your aim with up and down arrow, then hit space bar to fire.
Once you're sure of the range, you might swap out standard ammo for limited supplies of special armaments, like spider bombs, rollers and cluster warheads.
There's more than one way to skin a caterpillar track, of course - try Tank Attack if this is too relaxed.
