We don't know about you chaps, but we're not all that impressed with the weather at present. Seriously. We're thinking of cancelling that subscription. Here we are forking out 30 bob a month for clean turquoise skies, and all the met office can provide is rain.
It's almost like the weather's "beyond their control", or something. Slackers.
Anyway. There's nothing better for a rainy evening's entertainment than an honest-to-goodness 2D platformer, like Trine for PlayStation Network (pictured). Yes, we're aware it's strictly speaking a 2.5D platformer, but in practice that's all much of a muchness. And it looks pretty.
Having walked you through multiplayer games and pet sims in previous weeks, we've drummed up a short, reliably inaccurate pictoral account of the platform genre's formation, including (as always) links to free Flash games or downloads.
