In an industry swimming in American stereotypes - raptastic black sergeants, leering mobsters and designer stubbled whiteboys - it's rare to get a slice of pure, undiluted Brit pop.
A resounding cheer, then, for Henry Hatsworth, a plucky adventurer with a well-twiddled mustache and snappy bowler. The chap even wears a monocle and drinks tea.
Well cultivated Blighty roots aside, the game's most exciting feature is how it makes use of the DS screens. On the top you guide Henry through enemy-stocked landscapes, battering away with your sword. On the bottom you match lines of falling blocks to generate power-ups.
Colourful, complicated stuff.
Villains include Leopold Charles Anthony Weaselby the Third, second in command of the Pompous Adventurer Club, and Lance Banson, a womanising airship captain who is constantly being mobbed by adoring fans.
Try Super Mafia Land or Twin Shots for less expensive platforming shenanigans.
